I have a Westie named Kishi....he's almost 4. He has a stomach problem every month or so where his stomach growls all day....When this happens, he won't eat or drink anything, and this lasts usually for most of the day and then he's back to himself again. Any of your Westies have the same problem?
hi ya i have 2 westies 1 boy (Tobi) and 1 girl (Luci) tobi hgas been a star ever since weve had him although he does tend to be a bit sicky !! however poor luci is allergic to of all things "dust mites" and in on a monthly injection plan at the vets! however 1 thing that i used to use especially on thing like paws and around her rear was "Tea Tree cream" it calms down the area and i have to honest it does seem to work!! give it a try but like i said i used it on paws etc as Luci had nawed them red!!! hope tghis might help!!
I feed my westies taste of the wild [high prarie] and its loaded with vitamins and supplements which i think has helped alot,no skin allergys but a oatmeal shampoo bath will relive the itching.one has brain cancer and i have them on this great food and shes made it past the time the vets gave her,had a mri and etc.and was giving 3-6 months but its going on 9 months now and man is she acting wild and happy and barking and loves to eat, I feed her 3 small meals a day with a teaspoon of lowfat cottage cheese and then its along with the dry taste of the wild and in the evening 2 oclock she gets dry with a taste of fruitables can pumpkin and at night only dry taste of the wild, good luck with your westie and i hope this helps.yvonne Dog Spotlights heres her pic
