    Apprill,

Gosh, I have had dogs all my life and have never heard of a cold. What are your little ones symtoms? I have two young Yorkies and 3 Chi's, I would get a second opinion, with these little ones you have to be very careful they don't have much weight to fall back on. Is he eating and drinking water?

If Sarah and MaryAnn see this they are very good on advice.

    Good Luck to you,

    Mia

The only thing I can think of is get a humidifier fill it with water and put some 'menthol drops' in it. This could be eucalyptus oil. You could also lay the dog on its side, and with your hand cupped slightly, percuss his lungs on both sides to make sure the fluid doesn't' build up in the lungs

Make the water warm in the humidifier and put only 3 or 4 drops, of oil in the water, you don't want it to be over powering...
