I am so sorry you are having such a bad mosquito problem. You are right that you cannot avoid it when it is time for them to potty. I am glad though you are sticking to one potty method as using both pee pads indoors sometimes and pottying outside other times....only confuses the dog.

Avon makes a product called "Skin So Soft" that I use during mosquito times that I cannot avoid. They stay away from me when I use that lotion, and since the dog is close to me in heel position - it keeps the mosquitos away long enough to potty.

Let us know what your vet recommends. I'll check with mine next time we go in as well.
