    Some facts about Parvo

Just want to inform others about this disease for those who has puppies.

Parvo or Canine Parvovirus is a very serious viral disease that can transmitted directly or indirectly if your

puppy comes in close contact with an infected dog's poop or vomit.

This virus attacks the immune system and intestinal tracts of dogs. Parvo can attack without warning and puppies are most susceptible to this disease

    compared to adult dogs.

Some symptoms includes vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, fever, depression and sudden death.

This is one of the reasons why you shouldn't take your puppies outside your home if they still haven't

    completed their shots.

Thank you for the info about Parvo. I have always heard of it through having other dogs for the past 20 years. None of my babies ever had to experience it thank God. I had forgotten the symptoms over the years & about keeping your puppy in until they've had all their shots. Thanks for the refresher course.

Exactely Jude, I will not take my little one out in public now, not even out in my yard, she will be having her third shot this coming week, she has not been anywhere from inside my house yet just for that reason.

Good advice, that is a horrible thing I hear. I do not know personally, none of my pups have ever had it and I will protect them as well as I know how.

    Thanks.

^ thanks Mia. Yes it is certainly terrible, we have a neighbor whose dog had this condition thankfully the puppy was a survivor. He really fought that virus
    and survived.
