I don't mind saying but I have MS and where it affects me the most, is in the digestive tract, which means I don't digest my food properly. I am constantly on a quest to find better nutritional food. As it is now I have learned that Soudough also known as wild yeast is much better to digest than bread you buy in the super market. So I make my own wild yeast and bread. I also make my own butter, and soft cheese. While doing this, is all good and fine but you want more vitamins and minerals that aid the body in healing itself, and I found nutritional yeast. I put this in breads, cereals, cheese, anything you can eat. This is also excellent for your dogs and cats as well.

Nutritional yeast is also known as vegetarian yeast. Here is a small excerpt from an article about Nutritional yeast and the link so you can read more about it.

People know I don't have a dog yet, but I do have a cat, and she gets a teaspoon in her wet food each morning. Nurtitional yeast gives her more energy during the day, [she use to sleep all day, and now I wished she would. lol] It also improved her fur, less shedding. I consider Nutritional yeast as a super food, for both humans and dogs.

Nutritional yeast is not like commercial yeast or brewers yeast, here is an exerpt from the article I sent you with the link... Just to give you a bit more info. My cat loves it.

Nutritional yeast is the deactivated form of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is called the "vegetarians' proteins" as it is a rich source of protein while still containing a number of other nutrients. Nutritional yeast is grown on cane sugar and molasses. It is then harvested, washed, dried and sold either in the form of flakes or powder. The color of nutritional yeast may range from yellow to brown depending upon the manufacturer. The various nutritional yeast benefits have made this nutritional supplement a popular choice for many, specially amongst vegetarians.
