What is your little guys weight?

We have a black male mini schnauzer and he's a pretty "big" mini... I don't know his height measurements, but he does have pretty long legs....and he's 22-23 pounds. Just curious to see how he compares to some of the other schnauzers out there.
    Thanks,

I have three mini's....Mine are girls, but one of them weighs just under 20 lbs....one is holding between 16 and 17 lbs and the other is about 16 lbs. They have been as high as 20 in the past. Your boy is a bit big for miniature status, but so are mine. The height is the biggest factor. They are so intelligent and sweet....enjoy him!

    Hi,
I have 2 mini's ( well at least that is what they sold them as) My first little girl is 28 pounds. My smaller female is 20 pounds. I dont know if they are considered mini's but one thing that I do know is that it was the best decision I have made in many years, to share my life with them. They are the most loving, fun filled, caring and mischievious little girls that I have run across.
Mine will be 2 years old in a few weeks and I am thankful every day for having them in my life.

Maxwell will be 3 in October and his weight is 18lbs. He sounds like he weighs 50 when he runs.

My mini is 18# at 22 months and was originally raised as a stud, but got to 15# @ 8 months so the breeders sold him. It was my gain and their loss. It is my understanding that the mini breed weight is 12-15#.

My two year old female mini-schnauzer weighs between 14.5 to 15 pounds and is just under 13 inches at the withers , depending on how active she is (which mainly depends on our weather). She makes the breed standard, but is at the low end - the smallest. We walk approximately 3-4 miles a day, as well as practice Agility daily in our backyard (her daddy built her the complete obstacle course for her 1st and 2nd birthday presents). She too, has long legs (out of the seven in her litter, she was the one with the longest legs, and the first to go up and down a step). Her Vet's office recommended I bring her in and have her weighed every two weeks, especially when she is active in Agility, so we can monitor her weight to make sure she isn't losing. She had a weigh-in yesterday and they said she was perfect at 14.6 pounds.

Hello! Our dog is a 2 year old mini schnauzer that measures 12 inches tall and weights 22 pounds. Although the books say that the proper weight for an young adult dog like ours should be 20 pounds, our breeder and vet says that in that weight he is ok. They are robust, not fat dogs.

You're correct in that Mini-Schnauzers are sturdy, robust, and strong stout dogs. Our little gal is very athlectic and active....always has been.....so she couldn't weigh that much and be as active as she is. What kind of activities does your mini enjoy??? They sure are playful, aren't they???

Luka, our two years old miniature schnauzer enjoys his daily walk in the morning. We walk Luka 2 kms everymorning (it takes about 30 minutes). after that he eats and stay calm for the rest of the day. He plays with the kids in the interior of the house, and sleep long naps. he weights around 22 pounds, but he is very agile and jumpy when he plays and do not looks fat.
