  1. You know Jude, I forgot about how it may be dangerous, and your right about educating the members about it. I'll leave that to you and Sharda,

    You are welcome Jude!

    Hello Sarah,

Now worries! I understand what you mean.

Just keep us posted for this kind of stuff and Sharda and I will do what we can
to get rid of those spammers.

I think we also have to educate our other members about not clicking stuff that spammers
post because it could be dangerous.

    Thanks Sarah!

    Hi all,
As a new owner was not aware that dog was so affected by thunder. He shakes so bad that had to get vet to give something. He even cough up. We don't feel it is good idea to keep our dog on meds and hope there is a way to help him.
    Thanks, Bob
  4. Hi Bennie, you are very welcome. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask either here, or in the forum. this forum has some great people, with awesome insight.

    Hi Sarah,
I wanted to thank you for your insight regarding what I was concluding, as my dogs behavior. I now recognize that I am at fault, as I do not always follow through in my alpha role. You have touched upon some valid points hence my lack of consistency.
I will attempt your suggestions, and have him earn his reward, rather than it being a given.
    Thanks, Bennie
  6. No, I haven't tried clicker training. I used a whole lot of love, determination patience and practice.

I just moved to a place where we can have small animals. I already have a cat, and I've been thinking of getting a Chi. If and when I do, I was going to write to you and ask you about clicker training because I saw your video about how you trained your dog. We can't have large animals here, otherwise I would get another Rottweiler. I thought getting a Chi which would be smaller than my cat would make her happy and give her someone to play with as well.

Thanks for sharing your views with me. Have you tried the clicker training method? I found it quite useful.

    Hi Sarah,

I realized that in most of your posts, you encourage people who have problems with their dog to be the "alpha" and most dogs do not listen to their owner because they are dominant. I have some websites here about "dominance" and being the "alpha" that you may like to read.
