Cocker Spaniel Owner - coming up on the 5th one!

Hi!
Packmw here!
I have had 4 cocker spaniels over the last 20 years. The last one ( my dear Jolly) passed in January.
I look forward to a new arrival next spring if all goes well.
I've had two buffs; one, Chelsea, a pet shop dog that lived to 17! One, Jolly that just passed, age 13. One black, Panda, who had many health problems but lived to be 10 and one chocolate, Fudgie who had lymphoma and she was only with us for 6 years.
I love cockers and would really not consider any other dog.
That's my story -- and I'm sticking to it.
Anyone out there get their pups from Suzanne Smith?

i have 2 golden cocker spaniels as well, there so cute. Very possessive and proctetive dogs, specially my 3 years old male but my female nikyta she's the sweetest dog in the world, very independent and docil.

Who is the better breed English Spaniel or Cocker Spaniel? I'm choosing between both and I'm having a hard time. They are both great breeds.
