subject. foul smells

Hi, my name is Vicki. I own a 14 month old border collie. All winter long she urinated in a protected area in our carport, in the sand. Now that it is warm it smells really bad. What can I put in the sand to stop the smell? It is horrid and you have to walk past it to get into the house. Any suggestion?

Plain white vinegar and mix it through the sand to absorb the urine..
