    Red face introduce myself

My name is Bonnie I live in Canada and I have had a Bichon for 17years, unfortunately not the same Bichon in all those years as one did pass away about 5 years ago. But I currently own 2 more, they are both crosses. One with a Shitzu and one with a Maltese. They are my kids. I also have a Shepard cross who lives outdoors. They are all females 2 are spayed and one is not but soon to be as soon as I have to save up some money. I had originally planned to breed her but she is a very immature dog and is 4 years old so I think her day has passed and she will remain a childlike dog forever. That is OK as she can be my child. Lilly is my Bichon Shitzu cross she is the Boss in the house. Clover is my unspayed Bichon Maltese cross. She is constantly testing Lilly and challenging her for dominance. Lilly is bigger and very tolerant of Clover's efforts, but in the end, Lilly always tunes Clover in & puts her in her place. But there is always a struggle and Clover looks to Lilly for guidance most days and mimicks her, so I don't think Clover could ever hold the crown for long. Anyway, my shepard cross is Diva. Diva is a wonderful protective dog that likes most people. She protects me when I am outside from coyotes and anything else. She will run circles around me when I am outside at night for protection. I Love her she's great. Anyway, this is my introduction to me and my brood of dogs. Hope to converse with some of you in the future. thanks for listening.

Welcome to the forum. Your pack sounds like a lot of fun! Our granddaughter just got a Bichon pup from a breeder, he is really cute, of course. We spoil him when he comes to visit, just like grandparents are supposed to do! We are owned by two Papillons, they are still sorting out how the grandpup fits into their hierarchy. So far, they are pretty posessive and territorial about him, he wants to play and they want to assert their seniority. Some work to be done here......

Private property of a pack of precious pampered playful Papillons...
