My one yr. old Scottie, Molly, is on a tie-out. Does anyone know of a safe harness for tying her outside?

I like the Easy Walk by Premier for WALKING, but it loosens on her and she has chewed it. It is supposed to be the right size for her "girth". She does NOT pull with the Easy Walk! Today I tried the Lupine Roman Harness with the tie-out; within an hour she had chewed it too! Lupine does not recommend any of their harnesses for tie-outs (which the store clerk did NOT tell me. Lupine CO. is totally against tying a dog outside, (though we check on Molly often.)

I'm thinking about spraying the harness with that bitter stuff that prevents chewing. We're going through way too many harnesses, though Lupine will replace as many as you need, no questions asked.

Does anyone know of a safe harness for my one yr. old Scottie on a tie-out? Lupine has a good Roman style harness with a life-time guarantee. They don't recommend any of theres for tieing out. Molly has already chewed the one we got today. We'll return it and get a free new one. Great company in Conway, NH. Molly, the Scottish terror . . .

I am totally against tieing your dog outside. How long do you leave the dog outside tied? Why would you treat the dog this way?

I believe it's cruel, if it's for more than to go to the bathroom while you are getting ready for work.

    just my 6 cents
