I have a 2 year old fox terrier. I got him 4 months ago and all was well. He was trained and we had no problems with him. As of 2 or 3 weeks ago he is peeing in his crate every time we run errands or leave him. He is out of his crate most of the day bc I am a stay at home Mom. He does not pee at night.

I contacted his previous owner. She said to start feeding him in the crate and to have him go in there during the day for a nap so he won't associate the crate with being left alone. I also cleaned in out and washed the bedding with vinegar. This is the third day of doing this and he is still peeing. (Tried covering the crate...he pulls in the sheet and pees on that too!)

He is getting walked 4 times a day and is fine other wise.

Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
