Need suggestion for training treat to use with Clicker for a one pound puppy!

Our new Bichon, Cooper, is 10 weeks old...maybe weighs alittle more than a pound. I am initiating clicker training, and want to use a treat that will not take away from the nutrition that he needs. Any ideas from all of you great experts?

    Thanks! MargeeTx

Use the kibble you are feeding him. Just be sure to deduct that amount from his meals as not to over feed him.

Hi, i also have a bichon puppy who is 12 weeks old. i give her a piece of her kibble as a treat when she wee's outside, (which is most of the times, a few accidents on the kitchen floor but not many)or sits at the curb or whatever. this seems to work for me. if you do try anything else make sure you only try one thing at a time, thatway if something upsets her tummy you know what it is. enjoy. lucy
