    Cassidy

My Bishon Cassidy has been doing alot of gagging she gags then it seems like she is going to be sick this rarely happens if it does it's just a bit of saliva. She won't do it for days and then she will do it for a long time mostly in the evening it is not her reverse sneezing as does that when excited. We all get very distressed, I even give her a marshmallow but this doesn't always work. Hope you can help. She is 10 the 1st September 2011.

Have you consulted your vet regarding this matter?

Sometimes dogs and cats get a little upset tummy, and they gag.

It could also be that Cassidy ate something that upset her tummy, or she ate something to fast and it didn't go all the way down, so she tries to get up.

Does Cassidy eat fast? IF so, give little bits of her food at a time, so she will be forced to at least get the food down all the way. Make sure she gets plenty of water as well while she's eating, or in her food..
