My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel loves to eat grass, be it in the middle of the lawn or the edges. After eating a lot of it she throws it up. Do other dogs do this??

Yes, some dogs has sensitive stomachs which is why they react that way when they eat grass. There are also other dogs who will have allergic reactions because of this.
hello taxee there's already an existing topic about this, you can visit that topic by clicking on the link below;

So how do you break them of this habit? I have tried everything I can think of and nothing works.
There are many theories as to why dogs and cats eat grass, however, if you ask your Vet this question, the answer would be "because it's normal that they do".
If you have an upset stomach,. you do something about it, well so do they, so why stop them from something that is natural for them to do.
Before you allow your dog to chew and eat grass other than in your own yard....check and see if any chemical and/or fertilizers, etc... were used.
There are a lot of pet and child friendly lawn chemicals/fertilizers, but also a lot that are not.
As a general rule...I do not allow my dog to eat any grass, especially when we are out and about, as I have no idea what other people use to treat their lawns. I do not want her getting ill on something that I can prevent.
