    Unhappy vomiting

    Hi dear friends

My 10 month yorkie day on day off is vomiting her food. she eats and after a while she will vomite the food not digested yet. I was given her alpo for adults and changed for alpo puppies and the problem persists. I gave her chicken and rice and even so she vomites.
Recently she was dewormed as well, dont know what should i give her to eat. Some advice?

    Yorkie kisses

Mia recommends Blue Buffalo for all of her dogs Shimita. I do not know if you can get it where you are, but you can probably order it online..

Alpo and a lot of other dog food like that, is not really good for your dog, as it contains preservatives and other things that can cause sickness, and sometimes death.

Sharda has done some extensive search about dog food, you may want to look at some articles in the Nutrition section of the forum.

There was a recall on Blue Buffalo recently. Be careful. What does your Vet recommend?

My Mini Schnauzer had a bleeding gastritis when he was a puppy (about 4 months old). We though then that it was distemper, but fortunately t was not. Since then he had been very sensitive with any kind of food but Hills id. The Hills id prescription dog food comes in kibble and canned. I alternate kibble and canned. I tried to change to rice and lamb from Eukanuba and he vomited eventually. The only other food that tolerates is Royal Canin for Mini Schnauzers. Iīd been concern that the nutrients content in the Hills id prescription dog food arenīt enough to keep him healthy, and thatīs the reason I had been trying to change the food. But with id food never vomits. If it is available in your location it is the solution.

I would have her checked by your Vet. She may have a megaesophagus. It usually is congenital and can be found in young puppies prior to sale but sometimes it will not occur until 4 to 10 months of age. The puppy eats and throws up undigested food . The Vet can give you more information. If it was just the one food it may be just diet but I think it may be a serious condition
I had a Dalmatian in the early 60s that had the problem.
