Mini Schnauzer Diet

I am getting a Mini Schnauzer puppy soon. My question is my vet when asked said, that Schnauzers have problems processing protein. Has anyone experienced this with their Schnauzers?

Hi Marilyn welcome to the group.. I personally haven't heard about that... MaryAnn feeds her Schnauzer Organic Science Diet that she gets from the Vet. Her little girl does well on it... You could do some research on it and see what you come up with, but I find it strange because all dogs are protein eaters...

Thanks for your reply. The breeder is feeding Science Diet, and I have no concerns about it, just thought it would be wise to check it out to see what others may have to say.
