Diet mixed with Primal frozen raw food

I have a 2 yr old King Charles Cavalier. I was feeding her Primal dog food mixed with small of Orijen dry food. Our vet recommended that we only use the Orijen. what's you opinion? Snacks she gets blueberries or zukes.
    thank you!

    Hello Sharon!

How is Orijen fairing with your dog?

Does he have loose stools? Or is he itching?

I suggest that you check or observe this dog food first before deciding that it is bad for your dog.

I think along with your dry dog food, you can also include some raw meat, veges and fruit. Just make sure not to over feed, in one meal.

She was doing good when I was mixing the primal & origin and still doing good with just the origin. Weight is ok, stools ok. For a while she did seem to be itchy but not any longer. I didn't think to relate it to the food. With the mixing I felt I was giving her a variety of proteins, etc and don't want for long term health for her to miss out on anything if only feeding the orijen. The vet felt risks with the raw food over weighed the benefit of feeding them.
