My two and a half years old Mini Schnauzer had a bledding gastroenteritis when he was a puppy (about 4 months old) and since then IŽd feed him with Hills id prescription food for dogs. Since this is a prescription food I ask the vet for how long should I feed my dog with this food, and she recommend me to tried Eukanuba rice and lamb. I started the transition little by little but eventually he vomits again.
Recently I started to change, increasing the amount little by little with Royal Canine for Mini Schnauzers, but after a month or so, and when he was eating almost 75% Royal Canine and 25% Id, he had a vomit episode again!. My question is if I have to remain in the id prescription for life, and if it has all the nutrients that my dearest dog need to be healthy.
