Good Diet/Gas
I have an 18 week old Tibetan Spaniel. She has already exhibiting signs of skin allergies (summer related) so her food also must be skin sensitive.
As a 9 week old when we brought her home, she was on Eukanuba Puppy Petite, slightly moistened to soften the biscuits.
I have been in close contact with my vet over her meal times and she says that because of her size (Tiny- 15cm from withers, but that is correct for her age and breed) I should still feed her three times a day. Better to have alot of little meals than fewer larger meals. Anyway, to the point, she is still on Eukanuba Puppy, but is not very enthusiastic about them, so I now sprinkle a little liver powder over the top as well as the contents of an Omega 3 tablet daily to help with her skin, but she has the worst smelling wind. It's not just since she's been on the Omega 3, but seems to have gotten worse since starting. Is there anything anyone can suggest that will help relieve the wind. Even if it means changing foods, as long as she's getting all the vitamins she needs for a growing pup?

The pup must have had the same problems with the food prior to you purchasing her. If I were you, I would ask the vet for suggestions for food, since you live in Australia. The food is different there than what we can suggest to you from the States or Canada. If you have any chicken you can boil that and give her a tiny meal, add a little pureed carrots, and potatoes without the skin. This will suffice until you can call the vet.. Stop feeding her the Eukanuba puppy. Quit giving her the Omega 3 and start giving her olive oil in her food, or a vegetable oil would also be good.
Let us know how it goes..

Thanx for advice
Thanks heaps for the advice, I am taking her to the vet for her 16 week check up.
Yes she was on the Eukanuba before coming to me, but her allergies didn't start until she'd been with us for about two weeks. It all started when she started playing in the bushes in the garden. After her afternoon play, she came in and her little tummy was so inflamed with little red hive type things. They weren't weepy, just itchy. I rushed her to the vet and they gave me topical cortisone cream for the rash. She didn't want to give her oral cortisone (and I agreed) as she was too young. I decided to fence off all the bushes so she couldn't play in them and within hours the welts disappeared, and only reappeared once after she had lain on the bathroom floor after it had been freshly tiled and she was covered in tile dust. After a soothing bath in Oatmeal shampoo and conditioner, rash disappeared and tummy back to normal, no problems since. So I'm quite sure it's physical and not food related (the allergy). Just need to get rid of the wind, lol.

The wind tells me that she has problems with digesting the food, which is why I said don't feed her the food. She shouldn't be getting gas at her age.
I'm glad you found out what the allergy was, and took care of the problem. She also may grow out of the allergy as well, so it may not be a lifetime issue.
If you want to when she gets to be about 1 1/2 to 2 years of age, you can give you 1/4 teaspoon of Flax oil in her food. It will be good for her skin, coat and digestive tract...
