cairn terrier

My cairn terrier has about 6 skin tags.My vet doesn't want to take them off any more seeing he is 10 years old.He doesn't want to put him under, to take them off. He said just show the groomer wear they are.
Is their any thing I can put on them.They looked like calcium pimples.Some times they get loose and you can take them off.I seen on a show were skin tags are treated with wart meds on the skin tags and not the skin.
Does any one know about these or should I just leave them alone.I don't know if they bother him.

I have seen a skin tag remover for people advertised (Dr Scholl?)
You could inquire from you vet or the company if you can use this on dogs
