boston terrier
hi my name is wally and i have 2 boston terriers both females. lAdy is 3 and princess is 1. recently lady has been standing in front of the tv all day long and watching it.if she's walking around the house she will look up and stare. i know she can see fine. this all started happening a couple of weeks ago after i was playing with both dogs with a flashlight that has a red pointer light on it as they were trying to catch the light. i don't think that the flashlight had anything to do with it because my other boston does not watch tv. what do you guys think? please help.
thanks wally

Hi Wally,
Have you told this to your Vet? I am certainly not a opthamoligist but I would get her checked out. I had a laser light they sell at pet stores and returned it because, I may be wrong but I do not trust them and don't want to do any harm to my pups eyes.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

I believe that laser lights are safe, and gives us numerous hours of enjoyable time with out pets. I have played with my cats with a laser night and it's hilarious. Laser lights are not meant to be shined in the eyes, but on the floor, is perfectly ok. You don't want to shine the light in a mirror or reflective items, as it can cause short term vision problems.
I have a cat that stares at the TV sometimes, she likes commercials. She also stares at the walls and meows. There is nothing wrong with her but a little boredom.
By all means if you feel there is something medically wrong with your dog, absolutely have her checked out by the Vet..
Have fun with your dogs...
