    Scratching ??

Lady is now 19 months old ,occassionally she used to scratch her bedding ,sometimes turning the bottom cushion and laying half on ,half off. Then we gave her a kiddys small sleeping bag, folded in her cage and she has a new bed in another room. She takes herself to her cage without being told . She decides herself where she wants to lie.
She started doing this herself and she definitely knows where to go if she has been naughty/bad..LOL

She has little doggy blankets and she does ruffle these up to get comfy .

I noticed one spot in the garden that she keeps going, she had scratched like the starting of a small tunnel.Ive filled it in and she knows not to go there now as it is behind plants in pots.

Well now she has started scratching the floor tiles, carpet , and floor runner. As well as her bedding .
when I am in the room. I let her onto my bed. It was not until later I discovered she had wet my bed .. I stopped her going on my bed. Thing is after a few weeks I gave her another chance ,because I think she was in a deep sleep when she did it. She has not peed on my bed since ,but has her own.

I assumed she was scratching with her front paws and using her teeth on her bedding to get comfortable , the same as we would pump the pillows or cushions up.
ANy ideas or suggestions as to why she scratches and if I should stop her.
I say NO if she does it on my bed and she does stop.

What kind of exercise does she get? Long walks, a run etc. Dogs usually will fluff up their bedding, so things are more comfortable for them when they lie down, so I wouldn't worry about that. But she needs to have some sort of play/exercise hour at least, to tire them out...
