    piddling poodle

Hello, my name is Rosemary and I am a new forum user. I have a gorgeous 4 year old miniature poodle called Inky who is an absolute delight - except for one thing! He gets very excited when visitors come to the door, and he piddles on the floor.

I've been told not to get cross with him, so I don't. I remain calm but he continues to do this and I'm not sure where to go from here. He is well behaved in other aspects and is completely toilet trained other than these incidents.

I would welcome any advice, particularly if anyone else has a Poodle or a dog that has had the same problem.

Many thanks and look forward to hearing some useful information.

    Rosemary

Have your visitors "ignore" your dog, until your dog calms down.

Hello Rosemary, don't worry it's quite normal for dog to piddle when they get excited but since Inky is 4 years old and she stills
piddles, I suggest that you consult your vet about this just to be sure.
