TEMPERAMENT

SUITABILITY

This breed can do without a yard and will do well in an apartment provided they get enough exercise and get taken outside frequently. They can be quite active indoors especially when they're bored.

The Akita can do well with families regardless of their size. They're good with children and are very affectionate and loyal to their masters.
