aggressive Boston Terrier
I have a very small b/t and when we are walking ( on leash ) she always gets very aggressive towards any other animal ! I watch Cesar all the time and I love the illusion collar to control your dog but he says not to use them on short nose dogs ( pugs, boxers, b/t, etc. ) Does any one know of anything I can use to control her ? I use a harness on her as she has very sparse hair on her neck and under body and gets sore easily ! Thanks for any help

Hi Maggie,
How often is your dog socialized with other dogs? This would be a very good start. It could be that she is not very aggressive at all, just not socialized. The harness can make her more powerful which goes into aggression. As she is pulling to get to the dog, you are pulling back. What I would suggest is using a soft collar on her, something that will go high on the neck, but don't put any real pressure on it. When you see another dog coming your way, place the soft collar high on the neck and walk with attitude past the dog, don't hesitate, all the while giving her the command "leave it" Another thing is, she feels what you are thinking when you see a dog coming, and she will react to it, so change your thinking.. Think of something else.
